CAT ANZ (Cognitive Analytic Therapy Aotearoa-New Zealand) Supervisor Training Workshop

October 16 @ 5:00 pm - October 18 @ 4:00 pm NZDT

Vaughan Centre, North Shore, Auckland-Tāmaki Makaurau.

This residential training workshop will offer a mixed didactic and experiential overview of the key features and challenges of undertaking  work as a supervisor in cognitive analytic therapy (CAT) in various settings and contexts. It is aimed at those who have ideally completed an ICATA recognised  practitioner level CAT training and who wish to proceed to acquire more advanced and specific skills in supervising CAT as part of their work (or mahi). Undertaking such a training workshop represents one of the possible recognised components of the background portfolio required for accreditation as a supervisor by ANZACAT in Australasia and ICATA internationally. The  workshop will be held in the Vaughan Centre, North Shore, Auckland commencing on the evening of Wednesday 16th October through until Friday afternoon 18th October. Cost will include accommodation and catering.

The workshop will be led by Dr Ally Waite and Dr Ian B. Kerr, both experienced CAT practitioners, supervisors and trainers. The workshop will also include contributions ‘in person’ and ‘virtually’ from several other experienced local and international CAT colleagues (details tbc).

Overall cost – $1,850 (NZD) per person.
